I was the first of my immediate family to earn a bachelor’s degree. My studies were concentrated in English and Creative Writing, though which I learned critical thinking and research skills that will benefit me for the rest of my life. Part of being a teacher is staying informed and sourcing credible media and current information, so my research background and analytical skills will be a good foundation to have as I enter the field of education.
